The Salsa M2 evolved from the market leading mid wheel drive powered wheelchair the Salsa M.
The Salsa M2 has outstanding indoor manoeuvrability and great outdoor performance with head turning style what more could you ask for… The Salsa M2 Mid wheel drive can turn on its own axis therefore it delivers an ultra-compact turning circle for superior indoor manoeuvrability. This is an ideal powered wheelchair for both indoor and outdoor use, it has a narrow width of 61cm enabling easy access through doors and confined/compact spaces in and around the home at work or out and about.
The Salsa M2 offers a low seat to floor height from 43cm (17”) with powered COG tilt or 45cm (17.5”) with lift/tilt. This enables easy access to vehicles and enables better positioning under tables. The Salsa M2 seating system has many different width and depth adjustments to ensure a perfect fit and it can be adjusted to meet changes in the user’s physical condition. All six wheels have independent suspension which ensures shocks and bumps are absorbed when riding over obstacles.
The result being a softer and smoother ride over rough or uneven terrain. There are many different options that can be added a few for example are Tilt – in – Space, Lift and Tilt, Powered Leg Rests and a choice of four body colour options (matt black, classic white, vibrant red or electric blue) many other options available.
